More than 6 investment projects are planned to be implemented in Kyrgyzstan in 2022

Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021. / Kabar /. Next year, it is planned to implement more than 6 investment projects in Kyrgyzstan, including the renewal of idle enterprises, Acting Minister of Investments Nuradil Bayasov told at a briefing in Bishkek.

He said that finally an investor appeared for a carpet plant in Kara-Balta, which has been idle for many years, who invested USD 400 thousand in the first stage. The contract is signed for 4 years.

It is planned that the plant will open from 800 to 1 thousand jobs for the townspeople. In general, the contribution to this project is estimated at USD 25 million, which includes raw materials, repairs and the buyout of the enterprise.

In addition, it is planned to build a new European-level medical center with all the necessary equipment. What kind of profile the clinic will have is not specified, but it is known that the investor has invested USD 250 thousand.

Also, the purchase of international-class equipment for this center is being carried out. By the way, the cost of one equipment is USD 1 million 200 thousand.

Nuradil Bayasov said that the successful implementation of the project will allow attracting another USD 15-25 million to the country's economy.

He also added that there are also projects that have begun to be implemented since 2018, and they are planned to be completed in 2022.
