More than 70 Kyrgyzstanis leaves for South Korea to work

Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2022 / Kabar /. A solemn event was held on seeing off 71 citizens of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea in accordance with the memorandum of understanding between the authorized state bodies for sending and receiving labor to the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

More than 450 contracts were received. Now the first group is leaving, the rest are preparing for subsequent sending.

This year, more than 500 citizens have already flown to the Republic of Korea - for this purpose, a charter flight was organized on the route Bishkek - Incheon.

As a result of the activities carried out by the Center to popularize the Kyrgyz Republic and its labor resources, the number of contracts received, as well as the number of those who left for the Republic of Korea, doubled.

The average salary of labor migrants in South Korea is about 1,800 thousand dollars, taking into account the fact that accommodation and meals are paid by the employer.

The main requirement of the program is knowledge of the Korean language at the proper level.
