Bishkek, June 7, 2022 / Kabar /. More than a hundred students from Uzbekistan were expelled from Jalal-Abad State University for systematic absenteeism, the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan said explaining the reason of expelling foreign students from the Kyrgyz university.
According to paragraph 8.5 of the charter of Jalal-Abad State University, students must attend all types of classes provided for by the curriculum without fail.
Students were expelled for systematic absenteeism. The expelled students, despite repeated warnings, did not come to the educational institution and did not attend classes. Only after being expelled they provided various health certificates from various medical institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the ministry said.
However, the health certificates, as a rule, did not indicate the time of the illness or the time of the illness did not coincide with the missed days of classes, contrary to the rules, a long exemption from training was prescribed in a mild degree of illness, there are also facts of correcting the dates in the certificates.
Most students have the same diagnoses (ARVI) and unreasonably long periods of exemption from classes. Many students submitted health certificates without registration numbers, the ministry said.
