More than million Kyrgyzstanis are on migration registration in Russia

Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2022. / Kabar /. More than a million Kyrgyzstanis are on the migration register in Russia, Russian media write about it.

1 million 63 thousand citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are on the migration register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the report said.

The number of foreigners in the Russian Federation over the past year increased by 36.7%, thus, in 2021 the figure reached about 13 million 393 thousand people, and in 2020 - 9 million 802 thousand.

In addition, last year the number of foreigners who received Russian citizenship exceeded 735,000 people. This is 12% or 79,000 more than in 2020, the report said.
