Bishkek, March 26, 2024. / Kabar/. The mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases remains high in Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told at the opening ceremony of the first high-tech X-ray surgery center in Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, 55-60% of deaths in Kyrgyzstan occur due to cardiovascular diseases, with acute myocardial infarction in first place.
“If, with this diagnosis, the patient is not given help in the first hour, then there is practically no chance to save him. However, by opening similar centers and laboratories, we hope to improve mortality rates in the future,” he said.
