Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. An online auctions for the sale of license plates with a special combination of numbers and letters were held on Nov. 23 at nomer.srs.kg portal.
According to the press service of the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan, the most expensive number with a series of 01 888 BBB was sold for KGS 604 thousand (about USD 7,122) at the starting price of KGS 80 thousand (about USD 943).
A total of 14 auctions were planned, half of them were held and license plates were bought out by winners of online bidding.
"Also, the "hot" bidding was to buy the number 01 555 SSS, it was sold for KGS 430 thousand (about USD 5,070). Its starting price was KGS 60 thousand (USD 707). Numbers 01 111 JJJ and 01 777 XAH were bought for KGS 82 thousand (USD 967) and KGS 72 thousand (USD 849), respectively. The starting price of plate 04 111 III was KGS 60 thousand (USD 707), 01 007 XAH and 04 007 AMG – KGS 32 thousand (USD 377), and they were bought at the initial price," the report says.
In total, KGS 1 million 312 thousand (about USD 15 thousand 472) was sold., 91% of the profit will be transferred to the state budget. It is expected to buy out another 46 license plates with a special combination of numbers and letters of already held auctions.
The data of online auctions are available for all comers at nomer.srs.kg. Information about their conduct and implementation is open. Starting from today and till Dec. 7, more than 700 auctions with a special combination of numbers and letters are planned for sale.
