Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2019. /Kabar/. The X Charity Festival "Kyrgyzstan – a Country of Mountain Skiing and Winter Tourism" was held at the ZIL ski base near Bishkek.
The festival was held within the development of winter tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
The purpose of the festival is to promote the potential of winter tourism and charity campaign.
All funds will be transferred to those in need.
The organizers reported that each year about 240-250 thousand soms are raised.
Last year, 237 thousand soms were collected. Of these, 115 thousand soms were transferred to the NGO “Hand in Hand” (Russian: Рука в руке) (Association of parents of children with autism). 112 thousand soms for poor children with heart disease. 10 thousand soms were transferred to the social village "Manas".
This year, the commission will determine where the money will be sent. Children with autism are already on this list.
During the festival a lottery was held and many prizes from sponsors were presented.
