Bishkek, May 14, 2020. /Kabar/. At a session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) during the hearing of Prime Minister's report for 2019, MP Karamat Orozova outlined the problems in the border regions of the republic and health care system.
"Several incidents have occurred on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken Oblast since the beginning of the year. There have been casualties and houses have been burned down. The coronavirus pandemic has revealed problems in the republic's health system. If we talk about Batken Oblast, there is no modern hospital there," Orozova noted.
PM of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev stressed the Government will restore the houses of residents injured, and other issues in the border areas will be settled.
"5 hectares of land have been allocated to build modern hospital in Batken Oblast,” the head of the government replied.
At the Parliament session on Wednesday, deputies heard report of PM Abylgaziev on the work of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019.
