Mudflow descended in one more Kyrgyzstan’s oblast

Bishkek, May 3, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, May 3 at about 12:10 p.m. mudflow descended in Aksy region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan.

"In the village of Jany-Jol rains caused landslides, which flooded the road, three shops and gardens of residents," the press service of the Emergency Ministry of the republic reported.

In Kyrgyzstan's Isfana town (Batken Oblast), hail had caused mudslide the previous day.

It passed through several streets, where the streams came out of ditches and flooded 20 houses with a garden. Also, a house in the village of Kara-Dyobyo has been flooded. No casualties were reported.

On May 3, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev held a meeting to discuss issues, related to eliminating the consequences of mudslide in Isfana town and prevention of emergency situations on the ground.

He gave a number of instructions for the timely implementation of preventive protection measures in all potentially dangerous areas.
