Bishkek, July 1, 2024. / Kabar /. In the Kara-Kuldzha district of Osh region, four people died in a natural disaster, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Yesterday, June 30, at about 22:15, due to heavy rains in the Abyshka-Oozu section of the Zhetim-Dobo village of the Kara-Guz aiyl aimak, a Deo Matiz car was washed away by a mudflow. There were 5 people inside the transport, one was saved by local residents, the rest were carried away by the mudflow.
At first rescuers have found the bodies of three citizens, and later the body of the fourth person was found.
On-site search and rescue operations are carried out by 50 rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 40 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, doctors and 300 local residents.
