Museum cooperation developing between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Jan.31, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex Sulayman-Too and the State Museum of the History of Temurids under the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Uzbek capital city of Tashkent.

The document is aimed at improving forms of cooperation in the field of museum affairs and culture, and the development of friendly relations between the Kyrgyz and Uzbek peoples, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry’s Dunyo News Agency reported.

In particular, it provides for the establishment of direct contacts between the National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex Sulayman-Too and State Museum of the History of Temurids through the exchange of information and experts in museum studies, as well as joint scientific conferences and seminars in the field of museum sciences.
