Japanese sportsmen invited to Third World Nomad Games

Bishkek, Jan. 31, 2018 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Japan Chyngyz Aidarbekov met with Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Shinzhiro Komatsu, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The sides discussed actual directions of cooperation in the field of sports and education.

The ambassador briefed the interlocutor about forthcoming the Third World Nomad Games, having noted the importance of participation of the Japanese sportsmen in them. In this regard, the deputy minister said that the information will be brought to the attention of the sports organizations of Japan, who make the appropriate decision.

The sides discussed the organization of joint training of national teams for various sports in Japan under the auspices of the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, agreeing to work closely on this issue.

The participants of the meeting stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two Ministries of Education and Science, signed in 2013.
