Naryn, Fergana identify practical steps for mutually beneficial economic cooperation

Tashkent, March 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . A meeting was held between delegations headed by Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn Oblast Sabyrkul Ashimbaev and Governor of Fergana Province of Uzbekistan Khairullo Bozorov.

During the meeting, the sides defined concrete, practical steps for bilateral, mutually beneficial cooperation, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of Fergana Province.

The heads of the two regions considered the development of a Road Map for the implementation of tasks arising from decisions following the results of s state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Uzbekistan on the further development of inter-regional cooperation between the two countries.

Special attention was paid to the development of cooperation in logistics and transport, agriculture and industry, tourism, construction, increasing mutual trade turnover, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties.

Head of Fergana Province Khairullo Bozorov noted the need to take practical steps to further develop and strengthen cooperation between the two regions.

In addition, an agreement was reached to establish direct cooperation between regions and cities of the two oblasts - the cities of Margilan and Naryn, Quvasoy city and Ak - Talaa region, Fergana and Atbashy, Kuva and Naryn, Altyaryk and Kochkor regions, based on their economic specialization, establish bilateral cooperation.
