Bishkek, July 8, 2020 /Kabar/. In Naryn oblast, even before this pandemic, an acute shortage of medical personnel was observed, Governor Emilbek Alymkulov told during a news briefing.
According to his data, there are 368 medical specialists in the oblast, now 67 of them are on labor vacation.
"Among the remaining 306 medical workers there are those infected who are placed under observation. The oblast lacks 124 medics. The other day, because of the acute situation in Bishkek, 1 doctor and 18 medical workers have been sent to the capital city to help," Alymkulov added.
