Bishkek, Aug. 14, 2017 / Kabar/. “Nukura Fest - the heavenly city of traditions” ethnofestival will be held in Naryn, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Tourist destination of Naryn oblast invites all people to take part in the 1st City tourist ethnofestival in Naryn “Nukura Fest- the heavenly city of traditions” devoted to the closure of tourist season, the report said.
“Nukura Fest” will be held on September 16, 2017 and devoted to the 149the anniversary of Naryn and also to the closure of tourist season. “Nukura Fest” aims to attract Kyrgyz people and foreign tourists to Naryn to familiarize with local culture and traditions which exist for many years.
Demonstration of Kyrgyz national traditions is planned with the framework of the festival, including tasting of national foods and distribution their recipes, master classes in making felts, installing yurts, musical performances also presentation of each national musical instruments and fair of souvenier.
The Festival “Nukura Fest” is planned to be held annually.
The festival will be organized at the support of Naryn Mayor’s Office, USAID initiative for business development, also at the support of Free Economic Zone Naryn, Tourist agency Tenti and others.
