National Bank of Kyrgyzstan starts selling gold bullion in domestic market

Bishkek, Feb. 1, 2022 . / Kabar / . Starting Feb. 1, 2022 the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic will sell refined gold bullions in the domestic market of the country.

The press service of the financial regulator said that refined gold bars are manufactured by Kyrgyzaltyn JSC and weigh from 10.9 kg (10,900 g) to 13.4 kg (13,400 g) with a chemically pure base metal content of at least 99.95 percent of the ligature mass of the bar.

The sale price is set by the National Bank individually for each refined gold bar in the national currency of republic and is published on the official web-site of the Bank on a daily basis.

The National Bank does not repurchase refined gold bullions.

Refined gold bullions are sold to individuals and legal entities (except for enterprises producing and processing gold) by the Central Working Capital of the National Bank in non-cash form by transferring money to the National Bank account.
