Head of National Bank of Kyrgyzstan meet with governors of WB and IMF group in Washington

Bishkek, April 22, 2024 / Kabar/. From April 15 to 20, Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubanychbek Bokontaev took part in the spring meeting of the governors of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) group in Washington, USA.

The National Bank reported that as part of the event, meetings were held with Deputy Managing Director of the IMF Bo Li and Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department Jihad Azur to discuss the economic situation in the Kyrgyz Republic and macroeconomic policy measures.

There were also discussions and exchanges of views between the heads of central banks, including within the Swiss group of IMF countries, on the development of the world economy and global inflation trends.
