Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2021 . / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed on Thursday a decree on the National Council for Water and Land Resources, his press service said.
The Council has been established to improve coordination of activities of ministries, administrative agencies and state bodies on management, protection and use of water and land resources.
The functions of the National Council’s Secretariat under the President of Kyrgyzstan are assigned to authorized body in the sphere of natural resources of the republic.
The decree enters into force after seven working days from the date of its official publication.
Composition of the National Council for Water and Land Resources:
- President of Kyrgyzstan, chairman of the National Council;
- Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, deputy chairman of the National Council;
- Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan, deputy chairman of the National Council.
