Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2021. / Kabar /. The National Day of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) as part of the EXPO-2020.
The significant event was attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov, Minister of Tolerance of the UAE, General Commissioner of EXPO-2020 Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, members of the official delegation, entrepreneurs and Kyrgyz citizens living in the UAE.
The event began with a ceremony of raising the national flags of the two countries, and the anthems of the two countries were also played.
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov in his keynote speech expressed gratitude to the leadership of the UAE for their hospitality and warm welcome and congratulated the leadership of the United Arab Emirates and the friendly Emirati people on the occasion of the recent celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the country.
The Kyrgyz Cabinet chairman also noted the impressive progress in the UAE, which is becoming one of the most developed countries in the world and the region in such a short historical period, thanks to the far-sighted and wise policy of the country's leadership.
Zhaparov stressed the successful organization of EXPO-2020 in Dubai is an important event of global significance, a vivid confirmation of this and that it is symbolic that this year Kyrgyzstan celebrated its 30th anniversary of the independence.
Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized that the title of the exhibition theme “Uniting Minds, Creating the Future” carries deep symbolism, a reminder to humanity that only through joint work and cooperation is it possible to move forward.
“Kyrgyzstan is always open to trusting and mutually beneficial cooperation with both near and distant countries. We are interested in attracting investments, advanced technologies in the economy of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan is sincerely interested in expanding trade, economic, investment cooperation with the United Arab Emirates,” he said.
Speaking about tourism the Kyrgyz Cabinet chairman expressed confidence that with the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the world the number of tourists from UAE will grow steadily.
At the same time, he said that there is still a significant unrealized potential for cooperation and the sides have already begun active work on this.
The Cabinet chairman also stressed that the experience in the field of public administration and economic development of the United Arab Emirates is also important for Kyrgyzstan, expressing confidence that the Emirati experience will allow to significantly improve the efficiency of public administration, develop long-term development strategies and introduce innovations into the activities of the country's government bodies.
At the end of his speech Akylbek Zhaparov expressed hope that fraternal relations between the states, based on mutual trust and support, will be continued to strengthen for the benefit of the two peoples and wished everyone good health and success, and the people of the United Arab Emirates - new achievements and prosperity.
A concert program was organized after the speech of the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of Kyrgyz artists.
