National football team forward Kojo moved to Iranian club

Bishkek, Jan.11, 2025. /Kabar/. Forward of the national football team of Kyrgyzstan Joel Kojo moved to Eseghlal Iranian FC, the Kyrgyz Football Union reported.

This club is considered one of the most famous soccer clubs in Iran.

The team plays in the Persian Gulf Pro League, the highest division of Iranian football. The club is currently ranked 8th in the championship standings with 16 teams.

Earlier, Kojo played for Uzbek club Dinamo Samarkand, where last season he played 24 matches and scored 8 goals.

The contract with the new club is concluded on a 2+1 system, and Joel Kojo will play under the number 11.
