National Library organizes virtual book exhibition dedicated to 75th anniversary of Victory

Bishkek, May 9, 2020 / Kabar/. The National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Alykul Osmonov presented in a virtual format a book-illustrative exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War - “Peace has been defended, peace will be preserved!”.

The exhibition presents a documentary and fiction in Kyrgyz and Russian languages, reflecting the courage and heroism of the defenders of the motherland, friendship and fraternity in the common struggle against fascism.

During the event was attended by Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Zhamankulov, Russian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolai Udovichenko, Director of the Library Zhyldyz Bakashova, the People's Writer of the Kyrgyz Republic Mar Baizhiev, war veteran Arake Arstanbekov (93 years old), etc.
