National Mourning Day. Ambassadors and heads of int’l organizations in Kyrgyzstan leave notes in Condolence Book

Bishkek, July 30, 2020. /Kabar/. In accordance with a Decree of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov "On Declaring July 30, 2020 the Day of National Mourning in the Kyrgyz Republic" in memory of citizens who became victims of the coronavirus pandemic, the Book of Condolences has been opened in the building of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.

According to the ministry’s press service, heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, accredited in the city of Bishkek expressed their condolences and left appropriate notes in the Book.

State flags are lowered in all diplomatic and consular missions of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad.

As a sign of solidarity and support, the flags of member states have been lowered at the headquarters of SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) international organizations and the Turkic Council on that day.

The staff of the diplomatic service system of the Kyrgyz Republic expresses grief and deep condolences to the families and friends of victims of the pandemic.
