Bishkek, Sept.25, 2019 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan ‘s national swimming team has successfully started at AASF Asian Aquatics Championships in India, the press service of the Kyrgyz Federation of this sport reported.
The tournament is being held these days in Bangolore with the participation of the strongest athletes from 35 countries of the Asian continent.
On the first day of the competition Kyrgyz athletes won three medals, two of which are silver and one bronze.
Denis Petrashov became a silver medalist in the 100m breaststroke. Elizaveta Rogozhnikova also won the silver medal in the 50m backstroke, setting a new national record of 30.20 seconds. In the 200m medley, she was the third.
Kirill Weiss took the fourth place in the 100 m breaststroke, Vladislav Shuliko took the 8th place in the 200 m medley, Tengiz Tyubeyev - the ninth in the 50 m backstroke among boys, Ramazan Omarov - the 11th in the freestyle 200 m among boys.
