Nearly 2 thsd caterers suspended their activities during pandemic

Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2022 . / Kabar /. Almost 2 thousand public catering entities suspended their activities during the pandemic, Mirlan Rakhmanov, the head of the Department for Control of Special Tax Regimes of the State Tax Service said during a briefing in Bishkek.

He noted that as of today, there are more than 3 thousand public catering entities throughout the republic.

"During the pandemic in April, 944 subjects were closed. In May - 959. Since June, their work has been resumed, only 100 of them were closed. I would like to note that these subjects did not liquidate their business, they only suspended it until the economic situation was normalized. And this trend has spread to all businesses," Mirlan Rakhmanov explained.
