Negotiations began on delimitation and demarcation of Kyrgyz-Tajik border

Bishkek, May 1, 2021. / Kabar /. Negotiations have begun between government delegations on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border in Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz government reported.

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic is headed by chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan is headed by chairman of the State Committee for National Security Saimumin Yatimov.

During the talks, the sides will discuss the current situation and further actions to resolve the conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.

The agreement to hold this meeting was reached following a telephone conversation between the heads of the two states.
