Cholpon-Ata, Sept. 03, 2018. /Kabar/. Leaders of the member-states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States elected a new Secretary General of the organization. This post was given to Baghdad Amreyev. Previously, he had been serving as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran.
While speaking on the outcomes of the Sixth Summit, he thanked President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov for high-level organization of two events: the World Nomad Games and CCTS meeting.
Amreyev will replace in this position Ramil Hasanov.
