Tashkent, Sept. 2, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan opened four new checkpoints on Aug. 30, Kun.uz reported with reference to the press service of the Border Troops of the Uzbek National Security Service.
Rishton (Uzbekistan),Kaitpass (Kyrgyzstan), Tul Otukchu, Lenburg Apkan, Devayram Boz-Adyr checkpoints started operating at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.
The time limits at Uzbekistan’s Kyzyl-Kiya border crossing points, which previously operated from 07:00 to 18:00, were also revised. Now they work from 06:00 to 20:00.
The agreement on opening of the abovementioned checkpoints was reached on Aug.23 this year as a result of the meeting of the heads of border authorities of the two countries.
