Bishkek, Nov.19, 2019. /Kabar/. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) invites media representatives to attend the inauguration ceremony of a new facility for Aman Green Food LLC, a honey producer based in Bishkek.

The Event will take place on November 20th from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Free Economic Zone in Bishkek.

During the event, USAID will hand over new equipment to Mr. Kadyr Aly, an entrepreneur specialized in the production of natural honey and honey-based products. USAID will be represented by Mr. Javier Piedra, USAID’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for South Central Asia.

Mr. Piedra will deliver public remarks to explain USAID’s support to Kyrgyzstan’s economic development.

The new equipment donated by USAID will allow Mr. Kadyr Aly’s company, Aman GreenFood, to create new jobs and comply with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification requirements. ISO certification is key for international exports.

The equipment is provided by USAID as part of its efforts to support small businesses and create new jobs in Kyrgyzstan, particularly for women and youth.

Following remarks from Prime Minister Abylgaziev and Mr Piedra, journalists will be invited to visit the facility and see how natural honey-based products are made.

Journalists will have the opportunity to interview Mr. Kadyr Aly, and learn more about the partnership opportunities with USAID.
