Osh, Mar.4, 2020. /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of a new modern slaughterhouse that meets all international standards of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was held on Tuesday in Manas-Ata neighborhood of Osh city.
A private entrepreneur has invested KGS 12 million in the construction of a new slaughterhouse.
The necessary modern equipment was brought from the Russian Federation, the slaughterhouse has a modern laboratory for disease detection and a modern freezer to preserve the quality of meat, and all other necessary conditions were created.
The slaughterhouse is capable of serving 50-60 heads of cattle and 170-180 small animals per day. In the slaughter shop 35-40 people are provided with new workplaces. Veterinarians are constantly working there, who check animals for various diseases.
Representatives of the Osh Mayor’s Office, local officials and local residents took part in the opening of the new slaughter shop.
