Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Negotiations between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov and China Wang Yi have started in Bishkek.
The meeting is taking place within the framework of the official visit of the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry to Kyrgyzstan.
During the talks in a narrow format, Aidarbekov greeted the distinguished guest and noted that such a visit at this difficult time associated with the coronavirus pandemic instills confidence that this period will be overcome in the near future.
“Kyrgyzstan was and remains a good neighbor, friend and partner of the People's Republic of China. Over the past period this year we have actively contacted and discussed important issues,” he said.
Chingiz Aidarbekov recalled that they held talks by phone twice. In addition, he said that the heads of the two countries also talked on the phone and discussed a wide range of important issues that have already being implemented. He stated that there is progress on these issues and expressed hope that these points will be discussed today.
