New head of Tax Service appointed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2024. / Kabar /. Almambet Shykmamatov has been appointed chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz president said.

Previously, Almambet Shykmamatov held the position of chairman of the State Mortgage Company, and was then appointed assistant to the president of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Former chairman of the State Tax Service Altynbek Abduvapov and his deputy Islambek Kydyrgychev were detainedrecently.

They were accused of involvement in fraud related to the use of electronic consignment. In this regard, Altynbek Abduvapov and his deputy Islam Kydyrgychev were temporarily suspended from their positions. The court chose a preventive measure for them in the form of detention.
