New ISUZU powered buses launched in Kyrgyz capital

Bishkek, June 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . A solemn ceremony of launching new buses across Bishkek city was held near the capital’s Mayor’s Office on Tuesday.

50 units of new Japanese buses brand ISUZU 4HF1 of Uzbek assembling have started to carry passengers from today. The new buses are distributed along the lines and assigned appropriate numbers.

Five new schemes of bus routes on which these buses will travel have been developed.

Acting Mayor of Bishkek Baktybek Kudaibergenov said these buses will transport citizens for free until July 1.

On June 4, Bishkek Mayor's Office and "Eco Passenger Transportation" LLC signed a contract for the delivery of buses of Japanese brand ISUZU produced by LLC "SamAuto" in Uzbekistan.

The memorandum on cooperation was signed in May this year. According to the agreement, Eco Passenger Transportation will supply at least 350 gas-powered buses to Bishkek this year. The first batch of 50 units has already arrived.
