Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Oct. 28 new deputies Samat Ismanov from the Respublika – Ata-Zhurt parliamentary faction and Chinara Urumkulova from the SDPK parliamentary faction took the oath at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) at the Ala-Archa state residence.
Samat Ismanov came instead of MP Kurmankul Zulushev who refused the deputy mandate on Oct. 21 due to transfer to another position. Zulushev has been appointed the General Prosecutor of Kyrgyzstan.
In her turn, Chinara Urumkulova came instead of deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva who gave up her seat on Oct. 27.
Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Prime Minister Sadyr Zhaparov introduced a candidacy of ex-deputy Surabaldiyeva to the Jogorku Kenesh for position of deputy prime minister.
New members of the government of Kyrgyzstan will take the oath at today’s meeting of the Parliament.
The swearing-in of the new Prime Minister Sadyr Zhaparov, as well as the entire cabinet of ministers, is expected.
Sadyr Zhaparov was appointed as the prime minister on Oct. 10 replacing Kubatbek Boronov.
The Parliament of the country unanimously approved the structure, composition and program of Sadyr Zhaparov's Government on Oct.14.
