Bishkek, Jan.13, 2025. /Kabar/. The Trade Mission of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation with Food City Tashkent LLC.
The memorandum is aimed at developing trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as creating the necessary conditions for the promotion of Kyrgyz exporters to the Uzbek market, the Ministry of Economy reported.
Within the framework of the agreement, regular fairs will be organized on the territory of Food City Tashkent, where representatives of Kyrgyz business will be able to directly present their products to potential buyers, establish contacts with importers and conclude long-term contracts.
In order to optimize logistics and reduce business costs, Food City Tashkent will provide Kyrgyz exporters with trade places and warehouses on a free-of-charge basis.
The Uzbek side will assist in establishing direct contacts between Kyrgyz producers and Uzbek importers, which will allow for the supply of goods in the required volumes.
The signing of the memorandum creates conditions for expanding the presence of Kyrgyz goods in the market of Uzbekistan and simplifies the process of entry of domestic producers to new export platforms.
Food City Tashkent LLC is a platform for food trade and interaction between suppliers and buyers.
