New page opened in relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan - Ambassador Zhunusov

Tashkent, Dec. 10, 2021. / Kabar /. Thanks to the joint efforts and political will of Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a new page has been opened in relations between the two neighboring countries and fraternal peoples, Kyrgyz Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ibragim Zhunusov told.

Speaking at a round table on the topic: "Foreign policy of the new Uzbekistan: dynamics, achievements and prospects", organized by the Uzbek Foreign Ministry Ambassador Zhunusov focused on the current state of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, the prospects for the further development of Kyrgyz-Uzbek interaction in the political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres. “Political contacts between leaders fully serve to strengthen comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan,” he said.

As part of the event, the ambassador also took part in planting trees of friendship, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan reported.
