New school year to start on Sept. 1 in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 16, 2022. /Kabar/. The new 2022-2023 school year will begin on Sept. 1, Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Beishenaliev wrote on his page in social networks.

2021-2022 academic year began on Sept. 15.

In addition, it was also reported that the Ministry of Education and Science, taking into account the appeals of citizens, is considering the possibility of beginning 2022-2023 school year from Sept. 1.

This is due to the fact that parents and teachers complained about the fatigue of schoolchildren, reported that the postponement of the end of the school year had a bad effect on the decrease in the level of academic performance of students, an increase in the number of children missing classes.
