New secretary of Kyrgyzstan’s Security Council named

Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic has signed on Thursday a Decree appointing Keneshbek Duishebayev Secretary of the country’s Security Council, his press service reported.

From 2010 to 2012 Duishebayev served as Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s State Service for National Security.

On March 26, 2013 he was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Organization for the period 2013-2015.

Former head of the Security Council Damir Sagynbayev was dismissed on Oct. 10 by Presidential Decree of Jeenbekov.
