New shoe manufacturing facility launched in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 6, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Agency for Investment and Development of Kyrgyzstan continues work on the implementation of unique projects.

As part of the ongoing work, a visit took place on Dec. 6 to an enterprise for the production of shoe products, the press service of the Agency said.

Implementation of the project began this year by reinvesting profits from the previously implemented project for the production of yarn and the production of construction gloves Heilongjiang LLC.

Production of this product has no analogues in the country, the enterprise is import-substituting and export-oriented (more than 40% is exported to the market of Kazakhstan). The production capacity is more than 600 thousand pairs per year.

The company plans to expand its production line and produce sports shoes in the coming period.

Earlier in 2018, the Agency for Investment and Development of Kyrgyzstan accompanied and implemented an investment project for the production of yarn and construction gloves by Heilongjiang Company, where the inauguration of the first of its kind factory for the production of high-quality yarn and construction gloves with a total investment of over USD 2 million took place on Aug. 28, 2019 in Kyrgyzstan.
