New Tax Code doesn’t include new taxes or higher rates: Tax Service

Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . The new version of the Tax Code does not include increase the rates on any tax and does not introduce any new one, Deputy Chairman of the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan Bekbolot Aliyev told at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He added that the new Code will not affect the growth of prices of goods.

"Such rumors are spread by tax evaders and unscrupulous entrepreneurs who are not profitable. We are now conducting a raise-awareness work among the population that now the tax process is moving culturally to a new branch.

If we wanted to replenish the budget at the expense of small businesses, we would not cancel taxes for turnover up to KGS 8 million, it would not be logical. Our goal is to introduce a fair tax code," Deputy Chairman Bekbolot Aliyev said.
