Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2017 /Kabar/. A new tuberculosis hospital will be built in Bishkek, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The new modern TB hospital in Bishkek is designed for 129 beds. All TB patients in the city of Bishkek and Chui oblast will be treated there in a separate department for the treatment of patients with multiple drug resistance according to international standards.
The construction is planned within the framework of the project "Tuberculosis Control Program V" financed by the grant of the German Development Bank KFW and is designed to promote effective control, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, especially its multidrug-resistant forms.
