Bishkek, March 10, 2022. / Kabar /. Bishkek hosted on Thursday a signing of an agreement on the project of public-private partnership "Creation of scientific and industrial fruit and berry nursery on 20 hectares of agricultural land in Issyk-Kul Oblast”.
Center for PPP reported that the project provides for the testing of new modern varieties, the creation of agricultural park and training center, the creation of fruit and berry nursery (apples, pears, cherries, plums, currants) and organization of fruit and berry garden on 20 hectares of land in the Department of Expertise of Agricultural Crops under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The state partner for this project is the Department of Crop Expertise under the Kyrgyz Agriculture Ministry, and the private partner is the Agricultural Cooperative of Peasant Farms Eleonora Plus.
The amount of investment of the private partner in the PPP project is KGS 38 million. Term of the project implementation is not less than 25 years.
Since the beginning of 2022, agreements were signed on 4 PPP projects. And as of today, tenders have been announced for selection of private partners for a number of PPP projects in priority areas of the economy.
