Bishkek, Dec.26, 2019. /Kabar/. A New Year's Fair takes place in the park near the Kurmanjan Datka monument, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported Thursday.
The municipality decided to adopt the Christmas tradition of European cities, and organized the New Year Fair, where everyone can buy unusual New Year gifts for relatives and friends: jewelry, sweet cakes, handmade dishes, souvenirs, eco-products, honey and tea.
Townspeople have the opportunity to taste branded hot coffee, chocolate and cookies with the Mayor’s Office logo, as well as to get free Tulpar cards for travel by public transport.
Tulpar cards will be used for a cashless fare collection system, to be introduced on public transport in Bishkek in 2020.
“The Fairs will be held until Dec.30," the press service of the Mayor’s Office said.
