Newly appointed Kyrgyz FM receives Kazakh ambassador

Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev received on Thursday Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Kairat Nurpeisov.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, Nurpeisov congratulated Kazakbayev on his appointment to the post of Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister, and wished him success in further fruitful work.

During the talks, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh interaction and outlined the prospects for further cooperation.

Foreign Minister Kazakbayev informed about the gradual stabilization of the situation in the country, as well as the return of political processes in the legal field.

He especially noted that the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic would take necessary measures to ensure the safety of foreign investments, including Kazakhstani ones, in accordance with national legislation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the Kyrgyz-Kazakh allied relations and strategic partnership will continue to strengthen and develop in the interests of the two brotherly countries.
