Night of Museums held in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 22 / Kabar /. A large-scale sociocultural action Night of Museums is held in Bishkek on May 20.

For the first time in Kyrgyzstan, 12 art-sites opened their doors in one night for guests and residents of the capital. The organizer of the event was a professional creative group - OYOUM group together with the Bishkek city administration and the Fine and Art Museum.

Each site presented its unique program. The citizens were presented with an interesting program on the "trail" according to the map of the event, which included the trends of the city and the republic. These are exhibitions from the collections of museums and contemporary artists, streetart - DOXA, art classes from Honored artists, more than 60 kinds of master classes for children and adults, literary reading, and interactive museum tours, music sections and performances.

Each participant could participate at various creative master classes, quests, visit theatrical productions and become their actors. The whole block of the program was dedicated to the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan.

More than 1 thousand employees of museums, theaters, libraries, art studios, artists, sculptors, artisans, photographers, volunteers and the capital's municipality prepared for the Night of Museums.
