Bishkek, May 21, 2020 / Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev attended a video conference at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Central Asian states and the Russian Federation, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the videoconference, deputy foreign ministers of Central Asia and the Russian Federation discussed the situation in countries related to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the efforts of states to combat this new threat, including overcoming the socio-economic consequences and alleviating the conditions for citizens to stay in the current force majeure conditions.
Niyazaliev noted that in conditions when the whole world was faced with a new threat COVID - 19, it is necessary to combine efforts and develop joint actions to combat this phenomenon and eliminate its consequences. He drew attention to the importance of enhancing cooperation aimed at further developing comprehensive trade and economic cooperation, creating a special “green corridor” mechanism for transit freight transportation, ensuring security in the region, and also consolidating measures to counter modern challenges and threats.
