Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. At the polling stations health workers measured the body temperature of all voters, and no one case of COVID-19 coronavirus infection was recorded, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said at a briefing Monday.
According to her, lists of patients receiving treatment in hospitals were provided on the elections day. Beds were prepared in case of patients with coronavirus.
In addition, all polling stations were provided with sanitizers, masks, antiseptics, and information stands on distance observance. Body temperature was measured in front of the entrance. No citizens with signs of viral infection were registered. Before the elections day, the polling stations were inspected on provision with protective equipment. Raids were conducted at 1747 polling stations to detect mass crowds of people.
"22 sanitary violations were registered on the elections day. Of these, 12 violations were fined, 10 were warned and 4 were referred to law enforcement agencies," Akmatova added.
