Bishkek, Jan.10, 2025. /Kabar/. In connection with the introduction of an emergency situation in California, USA and aggravation of the situation with forest fires, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chicago maintains contact with Kyrgyz citizens in the region.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that at the moment there are no Kyrgyzstanis among the affected persons as a result of natural fires in the Los Angeles area.
The Kyrgyz MFA recommends that citizens staying in California observe increased security measures, exercise vigilance and refrain from visiting areas engulfed by fires.
