As of morning of March 22, no new cases of COVID-2019 registered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 22, 2020./Kabar/. As of the morning of March 22, there are no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said on Sunday.

A total of 14 positive cases of COVID-19 (6 men, 8 women) were registered in the republic:

- in Batken region - 1 case;

- in Suzak region - 8 cases;

- in Nookat region - 3 cases;

- in Bishkek city - 2 cases.

Patients aged between 25 and 80 years receive appropriate treatment.

In total, 2628 people have been identified as contact persons.

Anti-epidemiological and prophylactic measures are continue to be taken in sites of infection.
