Bishkek, Apr. 27, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, no cases of coronavirus re-infection have been reported among cases detected and those already cured of COVID-19, Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Health Minister of the Republic Nurbolot Usenbayev told Monday.
According to him, the epidemiological situation in the country is under control.
"It's premature to talk about a possible second wave of mass infection and the need for repeated quarantine measures," Usenbayev said.
As of Apr. 27, 13 new cases of novel coronavirus infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, 695 in total, including 183 cases among medical workers.
395 people have recovered and discharged from hospitals, 8 have passed away.
