Bishkek, March 22, 2020./Kabar/. At a briefing, Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Kalys Akhmatov denied the information that movement across the country is restricted in connection with emergency regime introduction.

According to him, declaration of quarantine post does not imply complete restriction of movement.

At the same time, the deputy minister urged citizens not to go outside without urgent need.

"Coronavirus cases were detected in Dzhalal-Abad, Osh and Batken Pblasts. Quarantine posts have been set up there. The Ministries of Emergency, Internal Affairs, Health and local government officials will be involved in the posts to check the citizens' health and carry out disinfection," he said.

Akhmatov added one important task today is to minimize transport movement.

He explained that there are no restrictions on movement along the Bishkek-Osh highway. At the same time, citizens will be checked at posts.
